First of all email this site to friends, former Santa Cruzans, anyone and urge them to subscribe for free. The number of subscriptions and site visits are what makes websites successful.

Think about taking out an ad that'll run alongside the column. Bratton Online readers are by definition a special target market and being a new website (for a while) ad rates are cheap or even affordable.
